Shams Dubai Solar On-Grid systems

Location: Dubai rooftops

The Shams Dubai initiative aims to encourage building owners to place solar panels on the roofs and connect them to the electricity network of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).

The electricity produced by the solar system can directly be used by the DEWA customer. Any generated electricity surplus will be exported to the DEWA electricity network and credited on the next DEWA bill. Depending on the capacity of the rooftop, the grid connected solar system can reduce a considerable part of the DEWA bill.

Since the launch of the Shams Dubai Initiative, Hollandia Solar has had many clients for commercial as well as residential ongrid solar systems in various parts of Dubai.
